- How to design both spirally-wound and stacked-plate lithium-ion cells
- Physics-based models for battery design and simulation
- Comparison of different lithium-ion chemistries
- Design of high-energy cells
- Gap analysis
- How to fit model parameters to experimental data
- How to design a battery pack
Battery Simulation Module (BSM)
- An introduction to BSM
- Working with tbm files
- Modeling batteries in STAR-CCM+
- Modeling battery packs in STAR-CCM+
This is a hands-on course so attendees will work through the examples.
